The craft of quality coffee

Indulge in a taste of Italy right here in the heart of Burnaby Heights, at Caffè Artigiano.

Located at Boffo’s own Tramonto building, another landmark building along Hastings corridor – less than two blocks away from Firma. This bustling caffè is a popular meeting destination in the Heights. Whether it be a coffee before or on the way to work, a lunch with friends, or an afternoon refreshment on the sunny patio – it will always hit the spot.

Caffè Artigiano serves only the best quality coffee, including Cup of Excellence winners from coffee origin countries all over the world. The Cup of Excellence program identifies top coffees from a country and makes them available to importers and roasters, rewarding winning farmers with high prices and global recognition.

Part of Caffè Artigiano’s mission is to set the standard of coffee making, by which others will ultimately be judged. Their artisan methods remain the cornerstone to their distinctive Italian tradition. Their award winning baristas specialize in coffee art, creating a unique rosette, tulip or heart atop of each cappuccino and latte served. Caffè Artigiano is home to a long pedigree of barista champions. From Canadian Championships to World Championships, as well as other competitions, they have taken home medals year after year.

Caffè Artigiano first opened its doors on the corner of Pender and Thurlow in January 2000 as Vancouver’s premiere Italian-style coffee house and bistro. Caffè Artigiano achieved immediate success by offering superior coffee and excellent food in a lively, comfortable atmosphere. Vancouver had a lot of cafes, but it lacked a true coffeehouse – an establishment dedicated to the perfect cup of coffee. A place driven by Italian passion and tradition, but always looking to new technologies and the future – this is where Caffè Artigiano started, and where it is today. With eleven locations in British Columbia and their expansion into Alberta, they have a solid reputation for serving some of the finest specialty coffee in the world.
