Arts + Events District Feature – Lupo
Lupo is one of our favourite restaurants in the Arts + Events District. With both contemporary and traditional Italian cooking in an iconic setting, it has a way of making you feel right at home.
Its location is more unique than any other, nestled inside a Heritage House in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, two blocks up from Smithe and Cambie. Not often do you come across a classic heritage home amoungst the bustling city streets. The home’s foundation dates all the way back to the 1840’s.
While the restaurant exterior has some serious character, the interior has even more so. The dining room is separated into several different sections by way of the building’s structure, allowing for a more intimate dining experience. One of the areas even has a fire place, adding to the cozy vibe.
Lupo’s menu changes seasonally and a selection of daily specials. If you’re catching a performance at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre or Vancouver Playhouse, there are two pre-event menus offered between 5 and 6:15pm.
Buon Appetito.
