2015 Year in Review

2015 was a busy year for Boffo Developments. We sold out two projects, hit construction milestones, and underwent a rigorous planning process for another high-rise project. We’ve got another big year ahead of us, but let’s look back at a snapshot of 2015.
Modello – Our largest project to date has been very well received – now over 80% sold. Following a substantial excavation period, we completed the tower core concrete pour last January – filling 1,200 cubic metres (enough to fill an entire football field, 5 feet high!). Four parkade levels followed on from there, and by the end of the year we were up to the 12^th floor. A tremendous amount of progress has been made at the construction site and we are full speed ahead for completion by this time next year.
Adagio – The first building sold out last year, with 100% of our purchasers being owner occupiers – the building was full by the end of summer. Adagio II is now complete and move-ins commence in a couple weeks. 70% of the homes are sold and we are relocating our presentation centre and display homes over to the brand new building. We are very proud of the community that we have created at Adagio and we are excited to have our homeowners experience the Boffo difference.
Artemisia – This signature 21-home boutique residence was a very unique project for Boffo. As one of a few distinctive residential buildings to contrast Downtown Vancouver’s glass skyline, it has truly became a landmark. All homes were sold and occupied by autumn. Artemisia was Boffo’s debut development in the Downtown Vancouver neighbourhood the first of several projects planned for this area.
The Smithe – For our next high-rise development, 2015 was a year of intense planning and preparation. We look forward to the launch of this new Downtown Vancouver project, representing Boffo’s signature design that has earned us the reputation as BC’s Boutique Homebuilder™. Overall, 2015 was a productive year for Boffo Developments. We are grateful for our talented team and site crews that worked hard to deliver on Boffo’s highest standards.
So, what’s in store for 2016? Adagio II homeowner move-ins, Modello construction progressing to completion, and the launch of our new high-rise development.
